Went to Sepal for dinner last night. It's the kind of place I would never venture to on my own since I hate falafel (or at least I thought I did). But I live 5 minutes away, and since you all praised it so much, I decided to try it last night. I loved their falafel sandwich. It's multitude of textures and flavor was wonderful. The falafel patties were crispy on the outside and moist inside (not at all the dry flavorless stuff I remembered from other places). The hummus was tangy and not too thick, the pickled turnips were zesty and crunchy. All this wrapped up in soft pita with letuce and tomatoes -- really yummy.
I was sad that there were only 2 other dinners in the restaurant besides me. The food is great and inexpensive, and decor is casual, but cozy. Is it their location that prevents people from coming? I hope more people go so that this place stays in business.
