I think this place has gotten better over the last year or so... in my first year working in Oakland, I went here a few times and found everything overly sweet and one-dimensional. My last two visits have been much better.
Anyway, I had a pretty good bowl of soondubu jigae this week - while the tofu wasn't the best I've had (that goes to Gaesung House of Tofu in Santa Clara), it was pretty good. Seafood was mostly octopus (perfectly cooked - most of the soondubu jigae I've had has shrimp and mussels, usually overcooked by the residual heat of the stew). There was an unusually large amount of vegetable (mostly zucchini) which I actually really liked.
Going to use this thread to keep a running record on the dishes I've had here, hope other people will join me...
