Does anyone know of a site for cheese--esp. cheeses imported from Spain, Italy, France, etc--that provides some info on the taste and texture of cheese? So that, for example, I could look up "dolce gorgonzola" or Morbier or some other cheese and read that it's a ripened/plastic/fresh/etc cheese, texture like XX cheese (some familiar cheese), taste reminiscent of YY or ZZ cheese (again, familiar cheeses), etc etc?
Also on this subject, many years ago, I used to find gourmandise cheese quite easily. I know it's still made, but it seems like it's not quite as common now. Anyone have any info or thoughts about this?
