We are trying to plan a family vacation, we will have a 3 yr old and a 5 year old.
I want to be clear up front that we are fully aware that this is a #FirstWorldProblem and that we are very fortunate.
We find beaches boring, we want somewhere interesting, with great stuff to do and see. With take -out or restaurants, even though we will rent an apartment, we don't want to spend much time cooking. We want to see and do interesting stuff. And have nice take out at the apartment since the kids get tired by evening.
We did this in Jerusalem last year - and it was fabulous1!!
This year we want somewhere not too long a flight (i.e., not Melbourne)
We did think about Costa Rica (koshercasas.com) It sounds wonderful, but we think the 3 year old may not be ready for it.
We are thinking about Brussels, or possible Strasbourg.
I know that London, Paris, Rome, Vienna and even Madrid would fit this bill, because we have been recently. We like exploring cities, and our toddlers love museums. But we also like kid-accessible outdoor stuff (just not beaches).
Is there somewhere that would work in terms of (kosher) food that I am not thinking of?
