I spend weekends in Seattle about every two months. Shopping, sightseeing and dining... most importantly.
I'm mourning the loss of Fandango, but have tried many of the most commonly recommended restaurants and am looking to try another on my upcoming trip.
The spin is, that I will be taking my 7 year old daughter with me this time. I can honestly take her anywhere as she is quiet, polite and has good table manners. I'm hoping to go to a restaurant that may have a couple options for kids or allow ording half-entrees, or something to keep the price reasonable. I don't want to spend $11 on Mac 'n' Cheese. One that Does not cater specifically to families is best -- my husband and I actually prefer not to be around squalling babies at dinner if we can help it.
A co-worker recommended Icon Grill, for the food and atmosphere. It sounds like it might be an interesting enough decor, coupled with a varied menu that would be great for anyone, but might fit the bill for a family meal.
I don't particularily consider this co-worker a chowhound, so would like some feedback on this... does it sound like a plan for a Saturday night, or are there other recommendations?
We'll have a car, so aren't opposed to driving to Madison Park etc.
Thanks for the suggestions -- chowhounds never let me down!
