Season's On Overland in West LA

Chandavkl | Apr 14, 2006 07:47 PM

Somebody asked last month what happened to Season's, as it had been replaced by something called Toki Wok, which turns out to be one of those sometimes horrible places that offers both Chinese and Japanese food. Venturing inside, I noticed that the Toki Wok menu says "former Season's Restaurant." This could mean that it's the same place, but that it changed its name to reflect its offering of Japanese food, in addition to Chinese food. (Note that this is what happened to Hong Kong 88 in Van Nuys which became 88 Chinese Food & Sushi, and where the Chinese food is still pretty decent.) Not having been to Season's in like 7 or 8 years I don't remember enough about it to tell if it's the same operation.
