I had read that Seasalt was now offering meat items, so when my husband and I decided to have New Year's dinner there I was looking forward to some new dishes. We were both very impressed. We had the rabbit rillettes and the lamb stew and found both to be excellent. The stew in particular had a wonderful earthiness that we both enjoyed. It was accompanied by a slightly cheesy polenta and carrots. The rillettes came in a jar with toast, whole grain mustard, radishes and cornichons.
The service wasn't as polished as I would have liked, but I imagine they were busier than usual. I have to add that the atmosphere was perfect for NYE not too loud, nicely decorated and romantic and festive.
