Search Tips & Tricks

saregama | Nov 14, 201903:32 PM     30

Hi Pat - re chowhound search: maybe it works better for you than for us - or if there are tricks we should be employing, a post on that would be well received.

For example, I just tried searching for “orange cake” and “orange olive oil cake” to find a recent post I know I read about the specific recipe I used - can’t find it. I then wrote a post with the term “orange and olive oil cake” in it, did the search again, and even my post doesn’t show up. Wish this were a one-off experience with search, but it isn’t. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.
