Hi, apologies if this is already in a thread somewhere but I'm not a great searcher! DH and I will be heading from Charleston to Myrtle Beach late afternoon/evening on Fri Aug 3 and are looking for good seafood on the way. We know of Bistro 217 and Franks. Bistro 217 looks great, but maybe a little upscale for tourists who will be tired from a day of sightseeing in Charleston. Is it as fancy as it looks from the website? Is the food worth the price?
Feedback on both Bistro 217 and Franks very welcome, as are other recommendations for anything from full-service restaurant to out-of-the-way seafood shack.
On Saturday we're planning to hit Scott's BBQ for lunch, but would be happy to have recommendations for breakfast and dinner places in Myrtle Beach. We'd probably prefer something light and low-key for dinner, after Scott's earlier in the day!
Thanks in advance. This will be the first time for both of us to this part of the country (we live in Brooklyn) and we're really looking forward to it!
