Someone recommended La Romantica to me, but unfortunately I can't remember who it was. Because that way, I'd remember not to listen to any more of their recommendations. My main complaint is with the food, though the service and the decor need help also. We started with the insalata caprese, which I could not eat. The hot house tomatoes were what I'd expect on a $3 gyro, not on a $8 salad. However, the worst part was the terrible, low-grade olive oil - it added such an unpleasant taste as to be offensive. Our main dishes were *somewhat* better, but that doesn't get us very far. My carbonara had large, grissly pieces of fat from the prosciutto and the sauce was thick and pasty. My companion's chicken marsala was, at best, descent. The wine we had was definitely not worth the $7-8 glass price. We will not be going back.
