The Scottish Arms in St Louis, MO

We (My husband and I) visited The Scottish Arms on Jume 14,2005. We arrived too early to be seated for dinner service so Daniel suggested we wait in Pub area and enjoy a brew. I have to say that the servers were all very nice and entertaining as we sat in Pub area. We enjoyed the Scottish brew and we had an order of Scotch eggs (very lovely) Aly, the owner visited the Pub area several times and I thought he is a very involved owner. We were enjoying ourselves so much that when dinner serve started we stayed in Pub area and order from dinner menu. I ordered the lamb and my husband had the Chicken Pie. I have to say my entree was wonderful and plenty to eat. I wanted to eat my vegetable so I gave my Hubby one of my lamb chops. He was impressed with the quality of the lamb and he tried a few of my veggies because I didn't want to share them. He also throughly enjoyed his choice of the Chicken Pie. We finished it all off with the dessert of cream, oats and raspberries (can't remember the name) We enjoyed the whole experience and shall return. My husband is from the UK and also is a chef, so I value his opinion on this food and he was impressed with the fare. TY Valencia and Alan Sowry
