what's the scoop on Delfina?

I've heard around the way that Delfina is no longer what it used to be; i.e. clean, well executed, Northern Italian food done from a California standpoint. Last time I checked (a month back), the menu hasn't seemed to have changed since the last time I lived in the Bay Area (a year ago). I've also heard that execution is sloppy and service has gone downhill.

Does any one have any insight on this? I even heard that their pastries are made by someone else (though excellent).

Is it still worth visiting?
