Looking for "old school" Pittsburgh

acewex | Aug 18, 201502:58 PM     10

Here visiting for a few days in Cranberry Township (Plan to go into the city every day). Really looking to experience old school Pittsburgh eateries. We're from Philadelphia (Pittsburgh is superior city) and have enough of the small plate, farm to table B.S.

Especially curious to check out Lawrenceville, East Liberty, Bloomfield as I've never really been to the neighborhoods here.

Love Italian red gravy places, pizza, etc. Here are a list of places I found. Please feel free to add or stay no. Yes we've been to Primanti Bros. Heres the list I put together:

DeLucas Diner
A'Pizza Badamo
Big Jim's
Pizza Taglio
S&D Deli
Bravo Cucina
Dor-Stop
Beto's Pizza
Pineo's Piza
Pamela's Diner

Thanks for your help!

Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar Market Square
Badamo’s Pizza - Mt. Lebanon
Big Jim's
Pizza Taglio
Beto's Pizza
Pamela's P&G Diner
Bravo! Italian Kitchen
