Williams-Sonoma recently started selling ScanPan TechnIQ cookware. Supposedly it's more for "commercial kitchens" despite selling in a retail store. I find it odd and don't expect it to sell too well. ScanPan isn't exactly lightweight, even their all aluminum vessel pans have some heft to them. Their handles seem awkward for the heavier pieces. Comparable to Cuisinart Multiclad Pro judging by how they look. Better than All-Clad, but Cuisinart MCP handles aren't the greatest.
Also the videos make it seem like their shapes are new to the industry. They really aren't... The ScanPan frying pan shapes I've seen on Anolon Ultra Clad and Sur La Table's own brand of cookware. They're just deep crepe pans in shape, really.
Frankly I'm more interested in the Maitre'd line also seen in the videos.
