I am on a mission to love all my pots and pans, and baking equipment. Unfortunately, I can't really justify spending all that money at once at this point and I don't want every piece on the face of the earth... just the necessities. I recently was looking through a past issue of Cooks Illustrated and there was an article on saucier pans; one of their top choices was a Farberware S.S. saucier pan for $36.00. This got me wondering... do I need this inexpensive pan for my "love collection?" I know these pans are used for making sauces... duh! :) But, anything else? Is this a multi-use pan? Thanks!
