Friends in from out of town, just called and want me to take them to breakfast tomorrow, Saturday 4/3!! They are with their terrific Pop, who is a real "Jack Gilford" type, gentle, generous, funny, but not into the hype, glitz, etc. of trendy places.
I've thought of Barney Greengrass or Second Avenue Deli. Anything better or a little more adventurous? They have to be at a show for the matinee. My friend, his son, is in the resto business, so would like to find something a little more unusual.
Thanks in advance!
