My lady seems to think that we should try Sasabune because all her friends rave about it. We usually eat at Ryo, Ike, and we'll hit Azami from time to time (as of late). We both live in the Grove/Fairfax area and I personally don't like driving out to West LA/Santa Monica for dinner unless its something unique and something similar is not available towards my end of town.
My question is, aside from just going to try a new place - are there compelling reasons for us to go to Sasabune? I mean, we love the quality at Ike and Ryo (now Izayoi) - would we really be missing out?
Side note - it's really annoying since she keeps harping on this place - for seemingly no good reason other than her friends liked it. I told her it's traditional and she still wants to go (she's totally the queen of non-traditional rolls, i mean she friggin loves crazy fish for God's sake!). GRRRRRR
