I will be arriving in SMA for an 8 night stay on Tuesday feb 7. This trip snuck up on me, I had sort of forgotten about it and I have no dining game plan. I will take a look at previous threads but figured I'll start a new one too.
I'm traveling with my 70 something year old mother, staying in the historical center (Casaluna hotel). Right now my biggest concern is finding something to eat the night we arrive since it will be late, 10-10:30. We'll be coming off a long day of travel and our connection in ATL is so short I'm not counting on being able to pick anything up then and there is no in flight meal.
Open to any and all other suggestions. We both like food, like to eat it, read about it, learn about it, cook it, etc. No allergies or restrictions. Budget wise we will be open to a couple more expensive splurges with the rest of our dining falling into the moderate to casual space.
A good chill cocktail bar for night caps would be great too.
Are dinner reservations generally needed?
