I read some entries about this new Cohn group resaurant and made reservations to end Summer with a bang. The poke and Mai Tai were fabulous. Wish we had stopped with that! Service excruciatingly slow, garnishes stale, and crab topping on the $36 filet mignon trio was so fishy, we were afraid to eat it! Abig disappointment! I understand problems with service and timing of dishes in a new restaurant, but I couldn't believe the "doubtful" shellfish! Was ours an isolated incident or not?

Good news, tonight, though. Revisited Chilango's in Hillcrest. Zesting Shrimp ceviche and the green mole on their "Z" enchiladas were wonderful! I tried the special Halibut Empapelado--wow! fresh, mild and delicious fish. Wish we had celebrated there last weekend (for about 1/2 the price!)
