My boyfriend and I dabble in San Gabriel Valley restaurants; we're fond of Chung King and Best Szechuan, Green Village and a couple other places. Recently he's been telling me about his favorite dish in NY Chinatown, salt-baked soft shell crab. I've seen salt baked squid around, but not salt baked soft shell crab. Now that soft shell crab season is coming, does anyone have a recommendation as to where we might find this dish, preferably in the SGV or on the east side?
