I had the worst Asian meal that I have ever had. So called cashew chicken and pad Thai.
No one in Thailand would cook like this. But inauthenticity doesn't matter. It was not at all tasty. The goals in the cooking seemed to be expediency and stinginess.
What I thought of was that this is what my eight year old 's school class might make if she lived in an area where Thai ingredients were relatively unavailable.
The place was quite busy. Life isn't fair if you are in the restaurant business.
