a salad and dessert: rosa mexicano - gentrified chinatown

ensalada de camarones:
the spicy shrimps were very good and decently spiced with flavorful batter. the peanut sauce was a tad underwhelming and could of used a little more kick to stand up to the delicious fried shrimps. a little overdressed as well. with minor changes, this would be a gorgeous salad.

helado de rosa: (choose three of six)
-rose hibiscus: a wannabe persian ice cream / wannabe cherry (rose petal) garcia, kinda ... uhh no. curious to try but no fly.
-avocado honey: was interesting to try as well. a nice attempt. a little more work and may have worked. i finished it though. maybe a little extra honey drizzled over this would complete it.
-mexican chocolate: mmm... fall seasonal flavors of spices with a rich chocolate taste makes this a delight. this one hit the point. should try the funky flavors to see for yourself, but leave one option for the chocolate.
