went to sakura's last night for the first time, had there early bird special 5:00 to 6:30. it was a bento with soup, salad, chicken teriyaki, shrimp tempura with veg, 3 pc of sushi(tuna, salmon, shrimp) with ice cream for$13.99. the price was right, but the food wasn't . the chicken was not grilled and had no flavor. the tempura was over battered and very limp.and the sushi did not melt in your mouth it was pretty tough. the decor is very nice and the service was very good. but the food needs alot of help . i have been to sakura's on main st. in mt. prospect a few times, what a difference. there food is wonderful.(try the love boat).i belive they are different owners.
