Went to this Eritrean place on Washington St. in JP last nite. It's a very bare bones operation, plastic cups and utensils (altho the main course is served on a decorative plate) and lighting that made me feel like the ugliest person on earth. But the woman working was very nice and they have quite a large menu and good prices. We split beef kulfi and a spicy lentil dish, both came w/ two sides. We got salad, cracked wheat, collard greens and beef fit fit. They were out of a few things we wanted, she was very apologetic. The beef kulfi was great, very tasty w/ peppers and onions and a it had a nice zing to it. The spicy lentils really weren't spicy at all and the other sides were a little blander than I expected. The food overall at Fasika seemed to have more pizazz. But for $11 each, it was perfectly fine.
