With the millions who live here, why is it so difficult to find a variety in our Organic produce? I have been looking for months for organic turnips, rutabagas, parsnips, jicama and yuca with no success whatsoever. I have tried all 3 Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Publix, Norman Bros, Sedanos, Presidente, Tropical, Milams, Fresh Market, Aldi, Wal Mart, Target, why is it so hard? I even ventured up to Hollywood this past weekend to the Yellow Green market in hopes of being surprised, yet the paltry 2 or 3 produce vendors had half of their inventories looking like it was stocked from supermarkets. We joined a CSA for the upcoming season in hopes of being surprised, but it's by no means a reliable way to get specific ingredients regularly. What are we missing?
