Just beyond 25th Avenue, in the north section of Steinway Street, Astoria, is a quaint seafood restaurant. It's proprietary state is that of Egyptian. This calls the guests attention to the coastal city of Alexandria, or other locations south on the Red Sea.
It is obvious that the seafood is done well in Egypt with the orders, that found their way to our table.
A side plate of tahini was on call as delicious bread from the oven first appeared.
Not too long after, a large plate of delicious spiced and seasoned larger shrimp, arrived, all of which beckoned to be disrobed of the exoskeleton, after which, was the final fate of these once swimming, arthropod. This was due to being thrown into ones oral cavity, to the pleasure of their taste.
The plate of whiting fish, was a sure test to the degree of preparations skills of the chef. The skin was seasoned with some added balanced and crispy outer. The meat was perfectly cooked, being extracted from the skeletal structure with ease and little bones amongst the delicious meat.
