Needs help! I think I've ruined my new enamelled CI casserole.

Hi everyone! I'm new here and also new to cast iron cookware. Now desperately need help & advice on my newly purchased CI casserole.

This is an enamelled casserole with black enamelled interior I just purchased. I followed the instruction found from web to season this casserole. Failed twice, rubbed it & did it all over again. (Sticky surface, uneven coating, etc...) In my last try, it formed a very uneven coating. So I rubbed it again & want to do a third try. However, it looks terrible right now, I can't evenly wipe oil on the surface, the oil just form droplets. I am scared to do anything further...

Did I just ruined the enamelled coating, or the casserole? Any ideas/suggestion to restore & reseason? Thanks in advance!

PS: The 1st photo is the lid, I didn't do anything on it.The interior surface should look like this. The second one is how the casserole looks now.
