another Romertopf, unglazed terra cotta question.

Do flavorings stay stuck in the terra cotta as they can do in other porous cookware. do I need to be careful here. I came across some recipes with a lot of spices, but I was worried my clay cookware would get permanently flavored.

had this issue with cast iron-I had to dedicate some pans to spicy, exotic flavors.
