Romaine's in Northboro

Had dinner at Romaine's (Main Street in Northboro)recently. This place was highly recommneded and seems to get consistently great reviews. Date had a salad with apples, bacon and goat cheese. It was great. I had an Iceberg wedge salad with blue cheese. Also very good. Date had a pan seared halibut dish. This was served with mashed potatoes. Very good but too salty. I had the wood oven roasted half chicked also served with mashed potatoes. Very good as well but too salty. Not sure whether we just hit the place at the wrong time - when the chef lost track of how many times he salted the foods while cooking it - or whether this is the way the food is always prepared. We're hesitant to goback unless others can vouch that this was just an aberation.

Service was fine.

Any body else have recent experience with this restaurant?
