I'm a Chicagoan planning a visit to NY - any genuine robatayakis in NY yet? I know about the izakayas. I'd also like a recommendation for a truly stellar Japanese restaurant - one that serves more than sushi, with upscale atmosphere and authentic cooking - a place that serves kaiseki would be nice. Also, any places that specialize in tonkatsu?
