Best roast duck in SF, how to travel with it?

aloncise | Dec 13, 201703:38 PM     8

I am traveling from SF to the East Coast and my mom wanted me to bring a Chinese roast duck (she lives in a rural crap hole). First question, who makes the best in SF? Surrounding areas are doable if I can walk there from BART. Second, will it actually still taste OK if I leave it overnight in the fridge and bring it on the plane for over 6 hours the next day? My flight is early in the morning so I have to buy it the previous day. Should I not even refrigerate the night before?
