Just learned that cookbook author and culinary legend Norene Gilletz passed away this week. Very sad to learn this.

If you’re Jewish and live in Canada there’s a good chance you’ve grown up enjoying food made from one of her recipes.

Her iconic cookbook “Second Helpings, Please!” was first published in 1968. My personal favourite cookbook of hers is The Pleasures of Your Food Processor.
