RIP: Finney's in the Alley....best hot dogs.....Beverly Hills

boy , was I disappointed. just moved back to NJ in April. And I just got back today from a 5 day LA trip.
fought a ton of Friday rush hour traffic to get to Finney's only to find out they closed in December!!

Sandy, I only had the pleasure of eating at your place once. But it was a great experience, the griddle hot dog, combined with sitting outside in one of the nicest alleys in the world!!

I had lunch at the Border Grill in Santa Monica, then tried for my late afternoon hot dog snack at Finney's.
.then fought traffic all the way back down to my motel near anaheim.....30 miles, an hour and a half!

I go a long way for a good hot dog!

....now I'm back here with my "italian hot dogs", and gray's papaya, nyc....

IMO, Finney's was even better than Pinks!
