RIP Dolce Vita & Figaro

Bruce Burger | Dec 18, 200310:51 PM

Dolce Vita, the super-friendly independently-owned gelato place on upper Queen Anne, has closed. (They originally sold excellent panini and doughnuts as well, but they stopped that a while ago.) This is especially sad since the other ice cream place in the area, Cow's Meow, with fair-quality homemade ice cream, changed last year to Scoops, which serves fair-quality Vitamilk ice cream.

Also, Figaro Bistro, a reliable source for French food near Seattle Center, has closed.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I watch these spaces.
