Review from travels in Corning and Fingerlakes

We went to a wonderful Indian restaurant called Thali of India on Market St. in Corning. Some of the best Indian food I have ever had and I've eaten in NYC, Boston, and London. The next day we traveled to Keuka Lake and went to Dr. Frank's vineyard for wine tasting. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed the dry riesling, the Rkatsiteli, and the gewurztraminer. Had wonderful fudge at the Chocolatier of Hammondsport in Hammondsport. They then gave us the suggestion to go up to the Switzerland Inn on Keuka Village Rd (right off of 54. It's got a nice view of the lake and the food is good ol' American. We had fresh haddock that was spiced nicely and moist. On saturday's is prime rib night if that's to your liking. And our last stop was in Jamestown, NY where we ate at Lisciandro's Restaurant on North Main st. Wow, it's like stepping back 40 years and it's open only for breakfast and lunch. The staff is really friendly and the food is good home cooking. plus you can visit the Lucille Ball Museums while your there. A great stop on your way west from Corning.
