We went to Tuscarora Mill for Brunch on Sunday. I had always heard great things about this place, but just never had the chance to go. They give you the choice of ordering off the menu for brunch, or choosing their buffet. After walking by the buffet on the way to our seats, we all decided to choose the buffet. Of the buffet they offer two full entrees, this time it was a salmon with rice and veggies and steak skewers with mashed potatoes. Steak was very tender and slamon was with an asian glaze, both perfectly done. They also then offer the traditional breakfast fare, eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast. They also a nice spread of chilled vegetable salads including grilled squash, green beans with roasted garlic. Mussels and smoked salmon as well as mixed and caesar salads. They had a small selection of desserts, but that included a great bread pudding, and small cheese plate. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, tasted wonderful. They do not have a made-to-order omelet station if that is one of the things you require in a brunch.
Our nly complaint was that the tables were very small. Four of us were seated at a table that in my opinion should have been a 2-top, but I think this is due to the configuration of the mill. The menu looke dgreat,but we wanted to try the buffet this time. I think we'll defnitely be going back for dinner sometime.
I don't know what they had planned for Easter, but this might work for the person looking for an Easter brunch spot.
