Tonight we went to Alessio to celebrate my wife's BD.
I ordered the Insalata di Mela which is baby spinach, roasted walnuts, radicchio and green apple with vinegar raspberry dressing and blue cheese. My wife ordered Chicken Parmesian and I ordered the Chicken Limone which is sautéed in a lemon white wine herb sauce.
Because we had a birthday, they brought over possibly the best Tiramisu I have ever had. It was lite a womderful and not strong as I have had *so many times* before at other restaurants.
Service was outstanding. The manager came by to see that we were happy, my glass of tea was never empty for more than 1 minute. The waitress and staff were very attentive to all our needs all night long.
I am glad to say that the place was hopping with customers. The pianist and his crew were really good were keeping Simi Valley alive beyond it's usual 8pm curfew.
The total for tonight was $54.00 plus tip-no alcohol.
Time and time again Alessio is showing they really are strong and hopefully will survive out here in a town known for chains and generally bad food.
