Is there some reason why many popular Bay Area restaurants seem reluctant to indicate prices on menus? I realize that prices can change frequently, and that many restaurants do not keep their web pages up to date (a foolish deficiency), but is there a message to be read? I think a curious food seeker is interested in the price range, at least. I am often pleasantly surprised at how reasonable prices are at some upscale restaurants. I should assume, I suppose, that no menu prices means a ripoff?
