As noted here recently, Pho Bolsa on Lafayette reopened with a sign out front saying something like "Malaysian and Vietnamese Restaurant". I popped in to see how it changed.
Turns out that they still have the old Pho Bolsa menu. But now, in addition to that, there is a second menu from Restorant Malaysia Inc. The bottom of the menu has a Flushing address crossed out, so I'm assuming it is a transplant, an off-shoot, or Pho Bolsa just stole a bunch of their menus (kidding there).
Orders appear to go into the same kitchen, so I don't know how they work it logistically. I ordered Nasi Lemak. Compares well to the same at Penang and Nyonya. The chicken curry portion was very good to my taste, as was the anchovy side, though I have very little experience with Malaysian. Definitely decent enough to encourage a second visit and more exploration.
