I dined at Cucina Urbana a few months ago and loved it
- ambiance & decor (though was a tad noisy)
- creative use of ingredients
- good wine options
- fresh and farm to table like approach
I'm wondering what other restaurants in San Diego la Jolla area I should try that would be on a par. I visit there every few months
tried Whisknladle in La Jolla and was unimpressed - seemed little staid and conservative though friendly. Not a beer drinker so less interested in microbrew and pub style and also not so interested in traditional italian
