Restaurant's that have Hot Food that is Just As Good Cold

Like-Go-Eat? | Sep 22, 2005 05:33 PM

I noticed that the food at some places is so good that an extra amount of hot food can be ordered specifically to eat cold the next day. I have several restaurants that I think the food they sell is just as good cold (sometimes even better cold) the next day as it was when hot and fresh over the counter. I think that quality (to be good cold) is good way to tell the true quality of the food to begin with.

I have a list below of great places to buy tamales made with quality masa that I think is just as good cold as they are eating hot at the restaurant.

Petrillo's Pizza when hot is great but as a cold breakfast I think it is better.

The Vegetarian Spring Rolls from Feast From the East again -- great when hot but I like them even more cold the next day . That is if they last till the next day because they seem to disappear overnight.

In-n-Out Burgers are great cold the next day. Just order them plain with the extras on the side.

Does anyone have more restaurants that sell “hot” food that is just as good cold?
