Anyone read Leah Garchik's The In Crowd column in today's Chronicle? She quotes from the "Code on Interactions With Healthcare Professionals" issued by the Pharmaceutical REsearch and Manufacturers of America., "a set of guidlines for avoiding the appearance of bribing potential customers." This guide gives a list of 20 off-limits restaurants -- they're too good and invitations to them might be thought of as bribes.
Here's the list:
Boulevard, French Laundry, Jardiniere, Aqua, Gary Danko, Farallon, Fleur de Lys, Hawthorne Lane, Postrio, Chez Panisse, Fringale, Ritz-Carlton Dining Room, Slanted Door, Chez Panisse Cafe, Masa's, Fifth Floor, La Folie, Tra Vigne, Bistro Jeanty, Chapeau.
Any you'd add to the list? Any you'd take away because they're not good enough?
