Restaurant Week strategy

I usually don't partake for two reasons...not a big dessert fan and dislike having to pay for something I wouldn't otherwise order. And in general, I've not seen the same degree of value in what you get for what you pay as do many people.

This year trying a different tack. Late lunches. Making it our meal for the day and going with the higher end, mostly $20 variety. We live downtown and I'm recently retired, so we have the luxury of dining at around 2:30 or 3:00 at places still serving lunch at that hour.

After a little research, here's the lineup for the week, starting in about two hours: Prepkitchen Little Italy; Rei do Gado, Cafe Chloe, Bertrand@Mr. A's and Commun. Will report back with hi or lo lights.
