Restaurant suggestion - El Ideas or Oriole?

herstadk | Jul 7, 201907:31 AM     6

My husband and I will be going to Chicago in October for our anniversary and to try many restaurants I've been eyeing for years. We've decided to definitely go to Alinea, since we have never been there, and now I'm trying to decide between Oriole and El Ideas, or both. It seems pricey to go to all three- Alinea, Oriole and El Ideas- but I really can't pick one over the other. At times, I'm leaning towards Oriole, other times El Ideas and most of the time I just want to do both. I'm looking for any thoughts or suggestions. Would El Ideas be too similar to Alinea in style? Oriole has gotten such great reviews, and El Ideas seems fun, so that's my dilemma! If you had to decide, which would you pick El Ideas or Oriole- or would you suggest both? Thank you for any feedback!
