I was just re-reading the negative reviews of Alexander's Steakhouse in Cupertino. I, along with several others gave it poor reviews for service. I enjoyed my meal more than some who posted. My conundrum is this: there are few nice white linen establishments near me and I would like to see Alexanders succeed. However, I find it challenging to provide feedback to the appropriate people at a restaurant to take action. On the one hand if your restaurant is poorly run you deserve to out of business. On the otherhand I want good places to eat near where I live. My time is valuable and I do not have much of it to give to establishments who seem not to listen. What to do? Say something or simply take my wallet elsewhere?
Chowhounds way in! What would you do?
