I write a restaurant review blog and am visiting Italy for the first time with my husband who does not eat meat. I have spent hours on this board trying to figure out how to make the most out of my five meals in Rome. Now I have a headache and I'm ready for some guidance.
We arrive Friday afternoon and I am considering dinner at La Gensola or Palatium
Saturday- we will have a busy day of touring- Forum and Colisseum in the am and then Vatican. Am considering Pizzarium for lunch. I have no idea if it is close by.
Dinner- Glass (or should I switch to La Pergola?)
Sunday- in the neighborhood of Jewish ghetto. need somewhere for lunch
Dinner- Le Tre Zucchi
is L'Asino D'Oro a must? I don't know if it is open on Sunday for lunch.
I would like a blend of traditional and contemporary restaurants and locations that make sense for lunch. I am happy to take a cab for dinner.
