Markets & Stores

No reservations needed - street food, bar seating, Farmer's Markets, walk-ins, etc.

We'll be in Chicago over July 4 weekend (Thursday - Sunday) and need recommendations for cannot-miss places that do not require a reservation. We have a nice dinner planned for one night, but otherwise will just be exploring and walking and trying to get a feel for true Chicago culture and different neighborhoods throughout the city. What are some great restaurants that don't require a reservation, including breakfast, lunch, mid-day snacks, etc.? We're open to food trucks and kiosks, Farmer's Markets, walk-in/up only places, dives, and anything in between as long as the food is good and the atmosphere/surrounding neighborhood is decent or worth visiting.
