does anyone remember the old type of rowntrees fruit gums?

hoping some Londoners can sympathize...

Not sure why, but today I was engulfed by waves of nostalgia and longing for the old type of rowntree's fruit gums. They came in a paper and foil tube, and they were thin and round (like a little coin) with one side flat, and the other side had a waffled/corss-hatched raised pattern. They were hard but chewable, and were hell to remove from your molars. I would do absolutely anything in the world for the red ones.

Does anyone else remember and long for them? I can't remember when I stopped finding them on shop shelves, except that it was many years ago. Why, Rowntree's, why???
