I'm hoping some of you recall the restaurant Red on Beverly Blvd. It was 1998 and I started working across the street in the old Liberace penthouse with a guest bathroom complete with floor to wall to ceiling mirrors, Yikes!
I walk across the street to Red to get lunch and discover the best chicken chili I've had up to now. My heart sank when the restaurant closed and my chili went with it. I've been searching the internet for years trying to find the recipe. I'm lousy at internet research and I've tried the LA Times archive on line but again I may be not searching correctly. I think I even tracked down one of the owners but never got a call back.
Does anyone out there have that recipe? Or one that even comes close to it?
