OK, every so often I make the effort to do a treasure hunt in the refrigerator. Also, some serious cleaning.
It got me to thinking about the age on some of the foods I found.
Relish, goodness knows how old that is, but it's still great. Same for several different types of mustards. The mayo jar, can't even look at the best by date, it's worn off.
Cheese, hey a little scraping maintenance and it's good to go!
Jellies and jams, as old as dirt!
Several sauces from take out and partial used jars.
WOW, the list goes on.
What about you, does your fridge hold many mysterious food treasures? Any great finds? Forgotten remnants in the back forty of you chill chest?
